Liz O’Dea

Couples & Family Therapist and Mental Health Social Worker

Liz is a qualified Mental Health Social Worker and Clinical Family and Couples Therapist with over a decade of clinical experience across child and adolescent mental health, Relationships Australia, early parenting support, family services and private practice.

Liz offers therapy for individuals, couples and families who are ready to untangle the tricky parts of being human together. She's all about helping people feel more connected — whether that's partners trying to find the spark again, parents navigating the beautiful chaos of raising little humans, or families working out how to get through dinner without conflict erupting.

Her approach is warm, grounded and genuinely curious — she's there to understand, not to judge. Liz draws on approaches including Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and supports families through parenting challenges, the transition to parenthood, relationship repair and family change.

Liz offers in-person therapy in Spotswood, with online sessions also available.
